The Country Inn & Suites will be the host hotel for this event.  This hotel has the largest indoor pool in Lincoln.  A room rate of $82 + tax is available for our event.  Please mention the ‘state bowling rate’ to get the discount.  To make your reservations, please call (402)-476-5353.  The Country Inn is located at 5353 N. 27th St., and is approximately 15-20 minutes away from each bowling center.

We also have enclosed a letter to distribute to your parents, and a TV release for your athletes.   Please have all of your students and parents sign the release before arriving at states.  You will need to make copies locally to get this done.

Check out our NEW ONLINE STORE to purchase your commemorative state high school bowling t-shirts and other NHSBF merchandise.   Go to www.nhsbf.com to order your shirt today, as we will only have a VERY LIMITED amount of shirts on-site.

Finally, we would like to encourage all spectators to show as much ‘team spirit’ as possible.  We encourage spectators to ‘paint their bodies/faces’, as well as develop ‘team signs’, however, signs that distract other spectators, or are inappropriate, will be removed.  Also, we would like all of you to contact NET television BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER the event to inform them that you like to see high school bowling on television.  Also, please contact your local bowling center and ask them to show the high school finals at their center when it airs.

Thank you for a tremendous season and good luck to all of you advancing to states.

Respectfully,

John Losito,
NHSBF Commissioner

PS – Don’t forget, if you have not turned in your TV release forms, you need to have parents sign the TV release prior to coming to states.
